During the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays, Yunnan Ethnic Village is giving its "Wild Village" IP a fresh upgrade by incorporating traditional customs from the Lisu ethnic group's Kuoshi Festival. Crossover performances bring together Jingpo sword dances, Achi Mu Gua folk dance, and street dance, while visitors can enjoy fire-pit tea roasting, ethnic-inspired specialty coffee creations, and a street of traditional intangible cultural heritage foods throughout the day, offering an immersive experience of the region's diverse ethnic cultures. 

The International Fishing Lantern Festival has also returned to Guandu Ancient Town, featuring a parade of giant fish lanterns, Dian opera performances, Flying Apsaras shows, and Munao Zongge sword dances. Visitors can also take part in hands-on experiences of traditional crafts, including Silver-inlaid Black Copper and Yunzi (Yunnan go-stone) making, throughout the festival. 

At Daguan Park, the cultural heritage of the Daguan Pavilion Long Couplet has inspired four themed banquet menus, complemented by more than 300 varieties of autumn chrysanthemums at the 32nd Autumn Chrysanthemum Cultural Exhibition, creating an atmosphere rich in traditional Chinese charm. 

After nightfall, the "Moonlit Night over Dianchi" Chinese-style open-air live performance at the Danxia Opening-and-Closing Floating Bridge, together with the "Flying Show in the Clouds" drone display, lights up the night sky over Kunming. Through light and shadow, the performances showcase the scenery of Dianchi Lake, the flavors of Yunnan cuisine, and traditional ethnic patterns. 

From song and dance to intangible cultural heritage, and from live performances to spectacular drone displays, China's diverse cultural traditions are being presented in ways that audiences can understand, see, and experience firsthand. By the shores of Dianchi Lake, these cultural experiences are offering the world a window into the stories of China and Yunnan.
