The 18th Kunming Spring Festival Shopping Expo (Spring Expo) opens today at the Kunming Dianchi International Convention and Exhibition Center，running from January 30 to February 12.

This year's Spring Expo continues to pursue the goal of "constantly meeting the people's ever-growing needs for a better life" , growing in step with the city of Kunming. The expo utilizes three exhibition halls in total, with four carefully planned exhibition areas: the 6th Hall houses the Plateau Characteristic Products Area and the International Area, the 7th Hall is the Unique and Premium Products Enterprises Area, and the 8th Hall focuses on the Regional Food Area. A special food and dining zone is set up in the connecting passages between the halls, meeting the shopping needs of residents. 

In comparison to previous exhibitions, this year's Spring Expo places greater emphasis on the integration of culture and consumption experience. With a focus on engaging folk cultural activities, the expo presents traditional handicrafts, traditional delicacies and Spring Festival customs through a variety of Spring Festival celebrations, creating an immersive Spring Festival cultural experience space. This event not only showcases the unique style of Kunming and promote Yunnan's plateau characteristic green products and festival culture, but also further elevates the internationalization level of the expo by continuing to feature an International Area.

The 18th Kunming Spring Festival Shopping Expo is committed to providing a one-stop shopping and entertainment platform for residents and tourists that integrates New Year shopping, traditional cultural experience and delicacies from all over the country, allowing visitors to enjoy a joyful and festive Spring Festival.
