On August 6th, the China-Cambodia Cultural Corridor was launched at the Siem Reap Angkor International Airport. The event was hosted by the Ministry of Information of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Information Office of the People's Government of Yunnan Province and organized by the Yunnan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the Yunnan International Communication Center for South Asia and Southeast Asia and the Yunnan Aviation Industry Investment Group Co., Ltd.

Chinese and Cambodian distinguished guests, including relevant officials from the External Promotion Bureau of the State Council Information Office of China and Ngov Sengkak, Deputy Governor of Siem Reap Province of Cambodia attended the event. Relevant officials of the External Promotion Bureau of the State Council Information Office of China and Chhean Leang, the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Information of Cambodia, jointly unveiled the China-Cambodia Cultural Corridor at the Siem Reap Angkor International Airport.
2024 is the "China-Cambodia people-to-people exchange year". The China (Yunnan)-Cambodia Cultural Series on "Visiting Yunnan and Angkor" Heritage Sites was launched in Kunming in June this year. The opening of the China-Cambodia Cultural Corridor at Siem Reap Angkor International Airport continues this series of activities.
The China-Cambodia Cultural Corridor at the Siem Reap Angkor International Airport is set up in the international passenger departure area. It includes the theme photo exhibition "World Heritage Face to Face, Civilization Mutual Learning Hand in Hand" and the static display area, etc.
The Chinese and Cambodian guests jointly launched the "World Heritage Tour Plan" at the event. The plan promotes World Heritage-themed tourism products, routes, and services for tourists from around the world who depart from Siem Reap Angkor International Airport via Kunming, China.
