The Kyrgyz and Russian versions of a think tank report on Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building were released here on Monday during the 2026 Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Media and Think Tank Summit.
Titled "Contemporary Features and Global Significance of Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building," the Kyrgyz and Russian versions of the report were jointly issued by the National High-Level Think Tank of the Party School of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee (National Academy of Governance) and the National High-Level Think Tank of Xinhua News Agency here in Kyrgyzstan's capital.
The report provides an in-depth explanation of the distinctive qualities and key factors behind the CPC's continued success and enduring vitality.
Comprising about 30,000 Chinese characters, the report systematically elaborates on the development, core principles, theoretical characteristics and global significance of Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building, offering an in-depth interpretation of the fundamental reasons why the century-old CPC has remained vibrant and continued to grow stronger.
The report said the CPC is a party dedicated to seeking happiness for the Chinese people and rejuvenation for the Chinese nation, while also striving for human progress and global harmony. Standing at the height of the development of human political civilization, Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building, grounded in reflections on today's world and its future as well as the CPC's governance practices, provides important enlightenment for political parties of all countries, especially political parties in Global South countries, in their party building endeavors.
Media professionals, think tank experts and scholars from SCO countries attending the summit said the report is an important publication for interpreting Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building for the SCO region.
They said the report systematically summarizes the original theories and practical approaches underpinning the self-improvement of the century-old CPC, while addressing the governance challenges commonly faced by political parties worldwide. They described it as an indispensable reference for political party dialogue and academic research under the SCO framework.
Participants also said that the publication of the report in Kyrgyz and Russian provides political parties, think tanks and academic institutions across SCO member states with an important resource for better understanding the CPC and China's philosophy of governance. They said it will help promote exchanges among political parties and mutual learning on governance, deepen political mutual trust under the guidance of the Shanghai Spirit, and consolidate the intellectual foundation for building a closer community with a shared future for the SCO.
