Where can one experience the most authentic folk customs as the year draws to a close? The answer lies within a century-old ancient village nestled at the foot of the Xishan Mountains in Kunming. On Saturday, January 31, the "Leju Ancient Village Pig Slaughter Banquet", featuring traditional rituals, authentic cuisine, and joyful folk dancing, will be held at the Leju Ethnic Cultural Park in Tuanjie Subdistrict, Xishan District. We warmly welcome residents and visitors to join this feast brimming with authentic Yi ethnic flavor and New Year festivities.

This event offers an in-depth experience of local folk culture. On the day of the event, a lively and festive "New Year Pig Parade" will bring blessings and lead visitors to step back into history. Adhering to the warm hospitality of Yi tradition, the Leju banquet will serve carefully prepared, authentic seasonal winter dishes. Before and after the feast, a series of engaging activities will take place, which include tug-of-war competitions, Yi ethnic toasts, and a grand finale of bonfire dancing. This will allows participants to immerse themselves in genuine and fervent celebration from taste to spirit.

Located in Tuanjie Subdistrict of Xishan District, Leju Village is an ancient Yi ethnic settlement with a history of over 600 years, perfectly preserving the traditional architectural style of "Yikeyin" folk courtyard houses. Winding bluestone paths and rows of earthen-walled houses create a distinctive historical scenery. Upon arrival, visitors can freely wander around the village: visit the internet-famous handmade bakery wafting with the aroma of kiln-fired bread, climb to the village's highest point for a panoramic view of the endless sea of grey-tiled roofs, or find a quiet café to enjoy slow-paced afternoon, personally experiencing the charm of "A many-splendored life".

A friendly reminder: The fee for this banquet is 60 RMB per person, with free admission for children under 7. To ensure the freshness of the dishes and avoid waste, online registration is available exclusively via the Cailong Club platform.
