Dietzenbach is a city in the Offenbach district of Hesse, Germany, serving as the district's administrative seat.
Located approximately 12 km southeast of Frankfurt, it lies within the densely populated and economically dynamic Frankfurt Rhine-Main region. The city borders Frankfurt International Airport and is situated near Engelsbach Airfield.
Covering an area of 26 square kilometers with an elevation of 132 meters, Dietzenbach has a population exceeding 35,000.
Its urban development traces back to the 13th century, and the city is characterized by cultural diversity: nearly one-third of residents have immigrant backgrounds representing over 100 countries.
Dietzenbach's economy features a developed service and retail industry, providing approximately 11,000 jobs predominantly in services. Key industries include information technology, pharmaceuticals, mechanical engineering, automation, logistics, and wholesale.
The city formally established a sister-city relationship with Kunming, China in 2019.
