Enjoying the serene and magnificent sunset of Dianchi Lake, savoring the simple and natural countryside scenery, and strolling along the green ecological pathway... At Jiangwei Community, Chenggong District, the natural landscapes present different colors and charm with the change of seasons, attracting citizens and tourists to come.

Jiangwei Community is under the jurisdiction of the Dounan Sub-district. The community is located on the east bank of Dianchi Lake, only 200 meters away from the lake, with superior geographical and climatic conditions. The community has been established for over 400 years, and generations have made a living by growing rice and vegetables and fishing along the banks of Dianchi Lake. It is a famous "land of fish, rice, and vegetables" in Chenggong.

In spring, at Jiangwei Community, rows of golden rapeseed flowers create a huge golden carpet stretching to the edge of Dianchi Lake, where the sky and water merge. This rapeseed flower field covers an area of 800 mu (about 53.33 hectares) and is planted on land that has been returned for ecological protection in response to the national policy for protecting Dianchi Lake.
Summer

In summer, rain brings vitality to everything, and a hundred mu of lotus flowers at Jiangwei Community enter the viewing period. Various varieties of lotus flowers bloom from mid-June to mid-August during the entire summer.

In midsummer July, the 320 mu (about 21.33 hectares) of rice fields at Jiangwei Community are thriving. A gentle breeze blows, causing the lush green rice stalks to create slight ripples, and forming a beautiful rural painting against the blue sky and white clouds.
Autumn and Winter

In the cool autumn and winter, blooming reeds at Jiangwei Community form a spectacular sea of reeds. At this time, large flocks of black-headed gulls also arrive; these beautiful "elves" soar in the sky, hovering in the air and playing over the water.

Jiangwei Community is one of the few remaining ancient fishing villages in Kunming. It was named after being located at the entrance of Luolong River into Dianchi Lake. Today, Jiangwei is famous not only as a popular fishing village but also for its beautiful riverside sunsets and as one of the Chenggong 16 Scenic Spots.
