Chinese student juggles soccer ball over 11,000 times

Hu Yixuan, a junior high school student in southwest China's Yunnan Province, recently became the new star in his school, after juggling a soccer ball 11,049 times in two hours.

Hu has practiced soccer for 8 years. He is currently in a special soccer class in his school, which is run by former professional foreign players.

Jiang Ping, deputy principal of the Runcheng School affiliated to Yunnan Normal University, said that "We have introduced professional foreign coaches, set up a special soccer class, and opened a soccer course in each class once a week. With the soccer program, the school has promoted its sports education, and has been recognized as a national-level soccer specialty school."

"The school aims to foster healthy and positive attitudes and make the children develop a lifelong exercising habit to benefit their lives," he added.

So far, seven students of the school have represented the province to compete in the national finals, while eight students have received the country's athlete certificate.
