Yunnan style: University cook flower dishes with rose petals

[InKunming--Yunnan] The rose garden in Chenggong campus of Yunnan University was built in 2016 and covers an area of about 2 hectares. According to the staff, not only having ornamental value, the Dianhong rose is also the best choice to make rose dishes. About one tenth of the roses are picked and send to the university canteen each year to cook all kinds of rose food, such as rose baozi, rose tofu, fried rose, etc. Every April and August, blooming flowers provide students with a wonderful rose feast full of Yunnan style.
