[InKunming--Yunnan]  The Fifth National Ethnic Arts Festival will be held in Beijing on August 18th. Batches of Yunnan Delegation start off for Beijing from August 16th.

Li Jiang, Standing Committee of Yunnan Province and Executive Vice Governor, serves as the head of the delegation. The delegation is composed of 461 people from 26 nationalities, which makes a record on number of people throughout the history.

Yunnan delegation will present two repertoire on this year’s National Ethnic Arts Festival, namely the Dai opera Dao Anren and the folk party Wonderful Dream of Yunnan. Besides,a total of 123 cast members will participate in performances on opening ceremony.

Drawing upon unique characteristics, Yunnan delegation has won gold medal for many times since 1980, when the National Ethnic Arts Festival was first held.
