Kunming ranks the 8th in the list of "Top 10 Most Beautiful Cities in China" for its spring-like climate all the year round.

[InKunming--Kunming]  Kunming won the honor of being in the "Top 10 Most Beautiful Cities in China", ranking first among western cities and ranking 8th across China. Yuxi(玉溪), another city in Yunnan, also ranked in the list in the 27th place.

The list of "Most Beautiful Cities in China", which selects 30 beautiful cities from 296 cities in China, has been published annually for 8 years starting from 2007.

Kunming boasts its favorable climate, abundant cultural resources and unique plateau lakes. Kunming is considered as a spring city, a historic city, a plateau eco city and a gateway city to south-eastern Asia for its attractions.

Up to now, Kunming has more than 200 government-protected cultural sites and over 100 key scenic attractions. Black-headed gulls, which fly to Kunming to spend winter every year, also make the city become more adorable.

Besides, Kunming is also hammering at being a garden city for it becomes more livable and pleasant than ever before.
