Yang Liping makes a bow for applause from Japanese audiences. [Xinhua]

[InKunming--Yunnan]  Dance drama Peacock made a debut in Tokyo, Japan in the evening of May 23. The dance drama has drawn a number of heated responses from Japanese audiences.

Yang Liping, a famous ethnic dancer from Yunnan, directed and performed the dance drama.

Japanese audience watched the drama in Shibuya village theatre and highly appreciated the drama.

By report, the drama will be performed repeatedly until June 1 in Tokyo. The drama will also be performed in Osaka, Japan on June 7 and June 8 according to drama organizers.
