President Yadav talked about his previous visit in China in 2010 with the Yunnan delegation. "I visited Lhasa, Shaanxi, Shanghai......"Until now, the president still remembered China's city and province names he had visited very clearly.

Since Yadav took office in 2008, the 66-year-old president had received Chinese friends group after group.

During one-hour interview with Yunnan press delegation, Yadav elaborated his opinions on China-Nepal cooperation relations.

He pointed out that media exchanges and cooperation play key roles for developing China-Nepal relations.

"I hope you could introduce history and culture of Buddha's birth land to Chinese people by your language and with your cameras. Lumbini in Nepal is the true birthplace of the founder of Buddhism, Sakyamuni, but not in India," Yadav said.

Li Qian, team leader of the Yunnan press delegation, expressed that they will exert media functions to let the peoples of two countries understand and know each other well in all-round aspects.
