A logistics center supporting the high-speed railway linking China and Laos, has started constructing on December 29th 2010. The railway and its supporting facilities were planed to begin construction in 2011.

The logistics center is located in Mohan Town of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province, with supporting facilities including goods’ distributing areas, warehouses and a bonded logistics zone.

Following are included in Project I of the logistics center: welding railway and constructing storages for railway sleepers, steels and cements. The Project I is planed to cover 476 mu of land and the estimated cost is ￥150 million yuan. (Reporter:Tina He, editor:Minnie Mao)
