[InKunming--Kunming] The 12th Kunming Seagull Cultural Festival & Lantern Show kicked off at Cuihu Park on Jan 31. Thousands of colorful lanterns make the whole park festive.

Marking the upcoming Spring Festival, 25 styles of colored lights and decorations are used in the Lantern Show. The exhibition area is from the south gate to the east gate of Cuihu Park and each site is decorated with different lantern landscapes.

It is reported that the Lantern Show will be open to citizens for free from 7:30-9:30 p.m. every night. People can enjoy gorgeous night scenery here at night during the Spring Festival holiday. Moreover, cultural activities such as lion dance, dragon dance, guessing the lantern riddles will be staged then.
